Welcome to Willowrose Village

Are you an business person or artist, especially one living in Cochrane, Alberta or the surrounding area? Then welcome to Willowrose Village!

So - what is Willowrose Village? It is a unique group of "businesses and venues" - which you can explore at http://www.willowrosevillage.com/. It's special focus is on business and the arts. The purpose of this village is to promote passion, creativity and success in life, art and business.

How will that be accomplished? Well - why not just head on over to the village and find out.

This is the first phase of a dream that began about twenty-five years ago. That has not been the easiest process, believe me, but I am excited that this is finally coming together.

If you are a business person or artist here in Cochrane or area, or anywhere on the internet, and you want to know more about how to live with passion, creativity and success, then I look forward to dialoguing with you, meeting you, and perhaps even working with you.

Over the next several weeks, as fast as I can get them online, I will be adding the first group of Willowrose Village businesses, etc. Take the time to explore the website and see if any of that sounds like something you might want to explore further. Details will be given in each section as to what is offered and how you can get involved.

One of the ways you can get involved is to let me know what you want from this village. Each webpage has a special ASK! box in the right sidebar where you can send me your questions, your suggestions, what you would really like to learn, etc. I really do want this to be a village that works for you, and the only way I can really do that is to ASK you!

I've started the process with the things that I would like to include, but that is only as a starting point. If you like what you see in this village and think you might want to get involved, then join in. Your input and feedback will determine a fair bit of what this village becomes.

This blog will primarily be for news and announcements, but you are certainly invited to join us over at the Willowrose Cafe (http://www.willowrosecafe.blogspot.com/) for discussions on what's happening, where we want to go, etc.

There are some very exciting things in the works, and those will be posted here as they happen. There will be some specific mailing lists developed later for special areas of interest, but for now, if you want to keep an eye on what is developing with Willowrose Village, sign up for our village "newspaper" at chronicles@willowrosevillage.com.
